Abhay Singhal is a co-founder of InMobi and the chief executive of InMobi Advertising, the group's advertising technology business, which says it reaches more than 1.3 billion people in over 190 countries. A graduate of IIT Kanpur, he co-founded mKhoj, the SMS-based search service that became InMobi, in 2007 with Naveen Tewari, Mohit Saxena and Amit Gupta; the company moved into mobile advertising in 2008 and became India's first unicorn in 2011. Over the years he has held several executive roles at InMobi, including head of human resources and chief revenue officer, and as CRO oversaw revenue growth across China, Asia-Pacific and the US. He is also listed among the co-founders of Glance, the InMobi-owned consumer platform launched in 2019. The Economic Times named him in its 40 Under Forty list of young business leaders in 2018. Singhal is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2026 he has spoken publicly about AI chatbots and agents reshaping search and advertising, including at TiEcon 2026 in June, arguing that consumers will still keep control of the final purchase.
