The Adani Group is an Indian conglomerate founded by Gautam Adani in 1988 as Adani Exports, a commodity trading business that became Adani Enterprises, the group's flagship and incubator. The group's operations now include ports and logistics through Adani Ports and SEZ, which runs Mundra, India's largest private port; power generation, transmission and renewables; city gas; airports; cement through Ambuja Cements and ACC; data centres; roads; real estate; and media. It is a portfolio of twelve listed companies headquartered in Ahmedabad. Forbes India reported in 2026 that it is investing $100 billion in AI infrastructure.
