Mesa School set to raise ₹100 crore Series A; co-founder to sell 2.9%

Mesa School, a Bengaluru new-age business school, is set to raise about ₹100 crore in a Series A round split between ₹84 crore of equity and ₹16 crore of venture debt, according to Entrackr. Co-founder Varun Limaye may also sell 2.9% of his stake for about ₹3 crore.

Mesa School, a Bengaluru-based new-age business school, is set to raise around ₹100 crore in a Series A funding round, Entrackr reported on 10 September 2026, citing people familiar with the deal. About ₹84 crore will come in as equity and the remaining ₹16 crore as venture debt. The round had not closed at the time of reporting.

Mesa has not announced the round itself. Elevation Capital, which led its seed round, declined to comment, and co-founder Varun Limaye did not respond to Entrackr's queries before publication.

The secondary sale

Alongside the fresh capital, Limaye is looking to sell about 2.9% of his personal stake for roughly ₹3 crore in a secondary transaction, sources told Entrackr. One person said existing investors who want to raise their ownership are taking up those shares. Whether Elevation Capital is among the buyers could not be confirmed.

Growth behind the raise

Mesa's annual revenue and student enrolments have grown about 2.5 times over the past year, according to the sources. A source attributed that growth to a bigger student base and a wider set of programmes.

The school now runs three programmes aimed at different groups of learners, including fresh graduates and MBA candidates, and is expanding its curriculum across startup leadership, entrepreneurship, product and AI.
