Theater, a Mumbai-based mass-premium western fashion brand, has raised ₹75 crore in a Series A round led by Niveshaay at a post-money valuation of ₹410 crore. The money will take the online-first label into physical stores across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
Theater, a design-led fashion brand from Mumbai that sells footwear, stockings, perfumes and bags, has raised ₹75 crore in a Series A round led by Niveshaay. New investor Physis Capital and existing backer Prath Ventures also took part. The round, reported on 10 September 2026, values the company at ₹410 crore post-money.

What the money is for
Theater said in a press release that the funds will speed up its offline expansion, with physical retail stores planned in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. It will also spend more on brand building, including celebrity partnerships and marketing activations, and roll out new retail and marketing initiatives as its store presence grows.
The company says its business has grown eightfold over the past two years, helped by a widening customer base and an emphasis on profitability.
