Chief Executive Officer, WOI India

MBA, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

About

Amar Dixit is the chief executive of WOI India, the Indian chapter of Dubai-headquartered ecosystem-development company WOI.ECO, and the founder of SwiftSeed Ventures, an early-stage investment and startup-community platform. WOI India acquired SwiftSeed in September 2026 for an undisclosed sum and named Dixit its CEO; SwiftSeed continues to operate as an entity under WOI India. By the time of the deal SwiftSeed had built a network of more than 500 investors and 10,000 founders, operators and other ecosystem participants, invested in about a dozen startups, and signed partnerships with IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur. Dixit has a long association with IIT Delhi's entrepreneurship ecosystem: he holds an MBA from IIT Delhi, has been part of the core team of IIT Delhi Angels, and previously headed eDC IIT Delhi. He also sits on the boards of several growth-stage ventures and advises startups on strategy, partnerships and growth. In his new role he leads WOI India's platform and its work with founders, investors, institutions and global partners, overseeing programmes including Startup School, DayOne Venture Studio, CEO Square, VC Circle and WOI Angels.

On his personal website Dixit describes himself as having more than seven years in the startup ecosystem and credits himself with growing IIT Delhi's BECon into what he calls India's largest student-run entrepreneurship summit. The same site lists earlier roles at PanScience Innovations, where he says he helped launch more than a dozen AI ventures, at Team Computers, working with AWS on cloud projects, and at AppSquadz Software. Announcing his appointment, he said founders need "the ecosystem around the capital", not just money. WOI India's stated Vision 2030 targets include training one crore entrepreneurs and building 100 venture studios.
