WOI India acquires SwiftSeed Ventures, names founder Amar Dixit CEO

WOI India has bought early-stage investment platform SwiftSeed Ventures for an undisclosed sum and made its founder, Amar Dixit, chief executive. The deal folds SwiftSeed's network of 500-plus investors and 10,000 founders into WOI India's push to combine capital, education and infrastructure for entrepreneurs.

WOI India, the Indian chapter of Dubai-headquartered ecosystem company WOI.ECO, has acquired SwiftSeed Ventures, an early-stage investment and startup ecosystem platform, and appointed SwiftSeed founder Amar Dixit as its chief executive officer. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal was reported in late September 2026.

SwiftSeed will keep operating as an entity under WOI India, according to the company's statement.

What WOI India gets

Over the past few years SwiftSeed has built a network of more than 500 investors and over 10,000 founders, operators and other ecosystem participants, and has invested in about a dozen startups. It has partnerships and MoUs with IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur, and has worked with Maruti Suzuki Innovation and Google's innovation ecosystem.

WOI India says the deal brings that founder-investor community into its wider effort to combine capital, education and infrastructure on a single platform.

Amar Dixit's new role

As CEO, Dixit will lead the development of WOI India's platform and its relationships with founders, investors, institutions, corporates and global partners. He will also oversee WOI India properties including Startup School, DayOne Venture Studio, CEO Square, VC Circle, WOI Angels, its Centres of Excellence and Startup Park.

Dixit has worked in the IIT Delhi entrepreneurship ecosystem for several years. He has been part of the core team of IIT Delhi Angels and previously headed eDC IIT Delhi. He also sits on the boards of several growth-stage companies and advises startups on strategy, growth and partnerships, according to IndianWeb2.

Commenting on the move, Dixit said founders “don't just need capital. They need the ecosystem around the capital.”
